About
We are excited to announce a joint webinar where we will highlight the blending of teaching strategies from the Social Thinking Methodology with the innovative educational platform of Seesaw. The event will kick off with a brief overview of foundational lessons found in two Social Thinking curriculum series. Authors Pamela Crooke and Ryan Hendrix, as well as Social Thinking Founder, Michelle Garcia Winner, will set the stage and then the Seesaw team will give attendees a sneak peek into how the lessons come to life on their interactive platform. What better way to blend theory and teaching, and it’s free.

New to Social Thinking? The strategies, curricula, and tools from their methodology connect social, emotional, and academic learning into digestible and practical lessons. For over 25 years, Social Thinking has been dedicated to helping people of all ages meet or make gains towards their social goals. The Social Thinking Methodology is research-informed and evidence-based and their motivating products break down complex social concepts like executive functioning, social problem solving, and social learning into understandable chunks. The materials can be found in schools, clinics, centers, and homes around the world, and Social Thinking continually evolves their work based on the latest research, clinical insights, and community/family input.

We hope this joint webinar featuring the strengths of both teams at Social Thinking and Seesaw will give attendees resources to support students’ learning right away. So, please join us live or watch the recording when you can.
